Salt Lake City, Utah based snowboard photographer Rusty White, 31, died in a single car accident Tuesday January 16, 2007 when his SUV cashed into a concrete wall on U.S. 191. He was reportedly on his way to Wolf Creek, Colorado to shoot with the MDP/People crew:

The Utah Highway Patrol said Russell Cabot White, 31, was driving an SUV towing a small utility trailer when it went off U.S. 191. Troopers said the vehicle came back on the road, crossed into northbound traffic lanes and rolled. It then hit a wall and ejected White, who died at the scene. White was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

I’m going to miss you Rusty. I can’t believe that 10 years after we first met you were still exactly the same – confident, happy, and the kind of person who would do anything for his friends. I honestly don’t know where (or if) I’d be if I hadn’t found you guys all that time ago. Thanks for all the help, even if I never got to tell you exactly what it was that you did for me. We’re going to miss you an awful lot, bro.
