Signal Press Release:
January 11th 2006
Hello and Happy New Year.
2006 is underway and this special company called Signal is forging ahead. There is no doubt that rider owned brands have caught the attention of snowboarding's main media outlets, and we couldn't be more pleased. The more people we reach and inform that there is a snowboarding movement that is designed and represented by pro snowboarders who own their own companies the better. As always, Signal's philosophy maintains that snowboarding, along with other creative outlets such as music and art, is the highest priority. As we move into year three we are humbled and appreciative that you, the Signal rider, the media magazines and the many U.S. and international websites have given Signal a voice. Your support and positive emails keep us all inspired and we thank you.
Signal now has Reps!
We are happy to announce that Signal has an amazing new rep force. We would like to publicly welcome Josh Nodak, Jaret Brantley, The Bonners, Nik Jacobson, Rich Merlino, Todd Cummins, Frank Periera, and Bobby and Frank of KGBsports in Quebec to the Signal family. If you would like more information on the Signal reps and their territories, email us at management@signalsnowboards.com.
Signal Pirate Radio.
The first of its kind... Well, the first snowboard company to have a web-streaming show that is dedicated to playing music, interviewing friends and keeping everyone updated on the latest happenings with Signal. Signal Pirate Radio has been a goal of Dave Lee's since the brand started. "I want to share my love of music, interview people whose main goals are to make a creative living, and connect Signal with listeners more directly. My hope?? maybe a listener will be inspired to play music, start a band, or even start their own snowboard company." If you would like to check it out go to to listen to a show at

Made in the U.S.A.
It has been our goal from the beginning to make our boards at home, and now Signal has moved manufacturing to Five Axis Mfg. in Huntington Beach, California. Our last two years overseas have been really good for us, but it is important to us that as we grow we support our own economy and work with like-minded individuals. Signal's 07 line up is all re-designed by Matt Hammer, Guy Deschenes, and Dave Lee. There are eleven new exclusive molds, built for high performance in parks as well as the backcountry. Kellie Talbot has created graphics that mix organic surroundings with industrial backgrounds, and we are all so excited with the way they came out. We can't wait for you to see one!
