Fuel TV Acquires Exclusive TV Rights to Mack Dawg's Snowboard Films

Los Angeles, CA. - FUEL TV, the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports has acquired exclusive worldwide television rights to eight films from Mack Dawg Productions, one of the most respected snowboarding filmmaking companies, it was announced today by Shon Tomlin, FUEL TV's Vice President, Programming and Development and Mike McEntire, owner of Mack Dawg Productions.

"We are really stoked to be working with FUEL TV on these projects. It is awesome to be able to reach so many people and to solidify the interest in our sports. FUEL TV is certainly on the same program that we are on so it is a perfect fit for our films," said McEntire.

"Mack Dawg has documented some of the greatest moments in snowboarding over the last 15 years and we're honored to have the opportunity to present some of their best work to FUEL TV audiences. Our partnerships with Absinthe Films, Standard Films and now Mack Dawg, further solidify FUEL TV's commitment to providing our viewers with the highest quality snowboarding programming available," said Tomlin.

Eight of Mack Dawg Productions' most popular films now available to FUEL TV audiences include "Chulksmack," featuring amazing snowboard feats from JP Walker, Jeremy Jones, Jussi Oksanen and more; "Shakedown," featuring Mack Dawg's "Dream Team" of riders across the globe; "Game Show," focusing on epic sessions from the US Open, The Nixon Jibfest, Transworld Snowboarding Team Challenge, The Arctic Challenge and more; "Pulse," a non-stop, heart pounding, action packed 16mm film on the freestyle snowboarding movement that checks the pulse of the finest snowboarding arenas in the world; "Nixon Jibfest," a documentary from start to finish about the three-day event hosted in 2002 by JP Walker, Jeremy Jones and Dave Downing; "Stand and Deliver," the true essence of freestyle snowboarding captured on 16mm and showcasing backcountry kickers, sick handrails and world record quarter-pipe airs; "True Life," filmed and edited by the riders filmed on the road; and "AMP," highlighting smooth and progressive technical riding with a solid mix of park, pipe and rails.

"For us, it's about quality. We recognize those filmmakers who really make an effort to put out the best product and take action sports filmmaking to another level. Mack Dawg has always been among those leading the way and pushing the limits, naturally it was time to make them part of our amazing existing lineup of films," added Lila McLaughlin, Manager of Programming and Acquisitions

FUEL TV has created a well-rounded library of snowboard programming that covers everything from the history of the sport to the new generation of back-country riders, jibbers and the sport's most significant events. FUEL TV's library now includes nearly every major contest, the majority of the top selling home videos and three original series featuring the sport's most celebrated riders. Between "Untracked," "The Standard Snowboard Show" and "Flipside" coming later this year, the TTR series, and events like the Roxy Chicken Jam, FUEL TV covers the snowboarding world.
