Fuel Keeps Subscribers Warm This Winter in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Georgia, Oregon, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tenessee and More.
LOS ANGELES - In the last four months, FUEL has launched in local markets throughout the country spanning more than 17 states, bringing its total national distribution to 12 million households. Cable operators launching the 24/7 action sports net recently include Charter Communications, Insight Communications, Adelphia, CableONE and Cox Communications, among others.
Subscribers in Duluth, Rosemount and St. Cloud, MN; Ashland and Madison, WI; Gilroy, Hollister and San Diego, CA; Dalton and Ringold, GA; Amelia and Chillicothe, FL; Alcoa and Farragut, TN; Medford, Grants Pass and Kennewick, OR; and Columbus, OH, among others, will have access to FUEL's more than 17 original series, numerous specials and interstitials, along with over 150 licensed events, series and action sports films.
Events exclusive to FUEL include the Cold Water Classic surf competition held in Santa Cruz, CA, The Etnies "Goofy versus Regular" skate competition in Lake Forest, CA, and SurfAid International's boat trip, titled "Wave of Compassion," from the Mentawais Islands of Indonesia.
Keeping the start of the week fresh, FUEL's Stacked Sundays will include premieres of new original series and specials, kicked off by "FUEL's 54321 Weekly Update" at 8:00pm ET/PT. This winter, FUEL will premiere two new series: "M80," which takes viewers on a wild ride into the fast paced and often times unruly world of freestyle motocross with the best riders, spots, hits, tricks, tattoos, shenanigans and, of course, fire; and "Pro-Files," which looks into the lives of action sports athletes through interviews with friends and family and background history on what really makes them who they are inside and outside their professional circle. The network will also unveil new seasons of current series "Skate Maps," "The Standard Snowboard Show," "Exposure," "Sacred Ride" and "Concrete Wave."
