13:36 PM INTERNET CAFE AT THE HOTEL

One advantage to a tourist dump is that they have internet access. I have the laptop plugged into the wall in a room with at least 30 computers in it. All of the lines are down, because the router went out in Seattle and there is only one fiber optic line to this neck of Alaska. But my 800 number to AOL is okay.

I just read all my 34 e-mails, and I have a request:

GET A SENSE OF HUMOR!!!!!!!

I didn't wrestle a bear and I have no intention of ever shooting a bear. I'd shoot myself before I shot a bear. I shot a deer once and felt stupid and swore I'd never shoot anything again.

I don't even keep the fish I catch.

Sheesh, Boo Boo. Lighten up.

I'm going to send this and then hit the road. I guess I'll get out of Skagway and head into White Horse until tomorrow. Canada is cheaper, except for the gas.
